We begin, of course, with an exploratory conversation to get personally acquainted and to learn what ideas, information and resources already exist.

Educate

is a survey of project decision-making. It builds on a solid, simple framework for thinking about project decisions and provides examples of the basic analyses and
ends with an overview of project management - from the CEO's point of view. Our briefing packet [click here] is written mainly for directors, a point of view useful for everyone
aiming for enthusiastic and lasting approvals.

Develop objectives
Basic to any kind of planning is developing a complete, yet concise statement of project objectives. We often begin with either senior
staff or the directors in a two-hour question discovery session, creating an outline of all their important questions about the project's
(or projects') managerial implications. This outline is sorted by basic management discipline: business structure, marketing and sales,
operations, information technology, human resources and finance.

Many organizations value a third-party assessment of the management performance of their capital assets and their buildings in particular.
Understanding the ROA on existing buildings helps everyone understand and forecast the ROI on the next projects. We have several simple
